Gonna be a time on Argyle!

Summer in Halifax means a shindig on stage at Neptune with the ultimate kitchen party experience! Join Ian Sherwood and friends as the Scotiabank Stage transforms into a working kitchen and bar for three roommates to throw the best party they can with beverages, Maritime music and special musical guest Mo Kenney!
With her third album, The Details, Mo Kenney traces her own strange, devastating, and ultimately hopeful trip through the trials and tribulations of booze-fuelled breakdowns, clouds of depression, and disintegrating relationships. On each of its 14 tracks, she unflinchingly confronts her annihilation and eventual redemption, leaving nothing out. The concept album is her most personal and cohesive work to date—combining elements of bruising rock ’n’ roll, vivid psychedelia, and haunting, left-of-the-dial pop, Kenney navigates the darkest waters in her life with self-deprecation, genuine soul-baring, and typical black humour.

Each show will have up to 12 seats available on stage. Exact seating will be determined the day of the show.

Pay What You Can

Neptune Theatre is pleased to offer a "pay what you can" performance for each of its productions (usually the first Tuesday of each production; please see here for exact dates).

Pay What You Can performances are not available for purchase online and there are no advanced ticket sales available. (Performances are listed online as a reminder of the PWYC performance dates.)

Doors open to the Theatre 30 minutes before the start of the performance and seating is on a 'first-come, first-served' basis, so you are advised to arrive early to get the best seating possible. Suggested PWYC donation $5.00. Cash only. Many of our 'PWYC' performances are very popular and the line-ups start early, so please make sure to plan ahead!
